Frequently asked questions

How do customers leave reviews?

Customers scan a QR code or tap a link you provide. They rate their experience on a simple form. Happy customers are invited to post on Google, and those who rate lower are offered a private channel to send you feedback directly — no gatekeeping.

Is this compliant with Google's policies?

Yes. Everyone gets the Google button regardless of rating — unhappy customers are never blocked from Google, they just also have a private feedback option. This is exactly how Google recommends collecting reviews.

Do you show bad reviews publicly?

Only reviews you explicitly approve appear on your review wall widget. Private feedback from unhappy customers stays private in your dashboard unless you choose to respond publicly on Google.

How do I add the widget to my site?

Copy one script tag from your dashboard's "Website Widget" card and paste it into your site. If you use WordPress, we have a WordPress plugin. For Wix or Squarespace, paste the code into a custom HTML block. For plain HTML sites, just drop it in your footer or wherever you want reviews to appear.

Will the widget slow down my site?

No. The widget loads asynchronously and is isolated in a shadow DOM, so it won't block your page load or interfere with your other scripts. It's also resilient — if something breaks, it fails silently and won't break your site.

What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Business plans?

Free includes 1 business with 10 email review requests per month and Dexuro branding on the widget. Pro ($19/mo) removes branding and gives unlimited requests plus AI reply suggestions. Business ($49/mo) adds support for up to 10 locations with separate review walls and QR codes for each.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no contract or long-term commitment — cancel whenever you like and you won't be billed again. Your reviews stay yours even after you cancel.

How often does my Google rating update?

Your widget syncs with Google daily, so your rating and review count stay current. The reviews themselves can take a few hours to appear after Google approves them.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your reviews, feedback, and business data stay in your account. If you cancel, you can log back in anytime to export your data or re-enable your service.

Do you send emails to my customers?

No. We never email your customers. Review request emails are only sent when you manually trigger them from the dashboard — you're always in control. We never use your customer list for anything else.

Embedding the widget

Add your review wall to any site with a single script tag.

Copy this code and paste it into your site. Replace YOUR_KEY with the key from your dashboard's Website Widget card.

<script src="https://reviews.dexuro.dev/w.js" data-key="YOUR_KEY" async></script>

Where to find YOUR_KEY: Log into your dashboard, go to the "Website Widget" card, and copy the key shown there. Paste it in place of YOUR_KEY in the code above.
